Lori Nozick
Lori Nozick has a MFA from Pratt Institute in Visual Arts, and a BFA from (what was) Philadelphia College of Art in Fine Arts and Certification in Art Therapy.
The artist was born in the northeast US, lived in New York for 25 years, and Miami Beach, with a studio in the Fountainhead Residency for twelve years, now returning to Miami, the place she calls home. Ms. Nozick spent time in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, CA. for medical treatment, and has ended a residence at the Kate Millet Foundation, “The Farm”, in the Hudson Valley, NY. “I am an artist who finds “home” in the environment I live and incorporate the particular elements in my art.”
The artist has exhibited her work in galleries and museums, awarded public art commissions, and received international, national, state, foundation grants and fellowships for her work, including the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant, NYFA Rauchenberg Artist Grant, The Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, and others.
