Gabriel Da Silva

Born in São Paulo in 1983, he developed an early passion for hip-hop and graffiti—an obsession that led to his arrest at 18 for painting in downtown São Paulo. He later shifted toward art direction, quickly finding success, which opened the door for a move to Madrid.

In Spain, he worked in advertising by day and painted by night, often using discarded materials due to limited access to traditional supplies. These early works led to his first international exhibitions in Madrid and London. During this period, he met his partner, with whom he co-founded Oldbaby in 2018, a collective exploring the relationship between classical and contemporary art.

As his career advanced, he became Head of Art at Saatchi & Saatchi while continuing to refine his artistic language. Inspired by Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, he developed his signature style—super-saturated, symbolic compositions that fully immerse the viewer.

In 2019, he relocated to Miami with his family, opening a new, vibrant chapter in his work while remaining deeply committed to social commentary and ongoing artistic evolution.
