Beth Toledo
Beth Toledo is a self-taught fiber artist working with repurposed, thrifted, vintage, and found materials. Inspired by nature, travel, and the overlooked details of everyday life, she collects materials from the streets and shores of Miami, places she visits, and wherever curiosity leads her. Sea glass, fishing net, driftwood, vintage textiles, discarded jewelry, beads, and other unexpected objects are reimagined through weaving and fiber art. Her work explores place, memory, sustainability, and connection, often combining tactile materials with a sense of play and surprise. She is interested in pushing fiber beyond traditional boundaries and giving overlooked objects a new story.
