Artist Member Microgrant
Beginning in Fall 2026, Dimensions Variable will launch the Artist Member Microgrant, a pilot program providing direct financial support to eligible Artist Members throughout the United States.
The Artist Member Microgrant supports artist-identified needs that contribute meaningfully to the development, continuation, or presentation of a practice.
Funding may support:
- Materials and fabrication
- Artwork documentation
- Research and travel
- Shipping and installation
- Professional services
- Residency or applications
- Childcare and caregiving
- Studio overhead
- Other expenses support artists
Eligibility
To apply, artists must:
- Be based in the United States
- Have maintained an Artist Membership for at least six months before the application deadline
- Remain members throughout the application and award process
- Meet any requirements in the full Artist Member Microgrant guidelines
Artists do not need to live in Miami or Florida to apply. Artist Member Microgrant awards are made through a separate application and selection process. Award amounts, application dates, selection procedures, allowable expenses, and complete guidelines will be announced before the first open call in Fall 2026. Membership provides eligibility to apply for the Artist Member Microgrant but does not guarantee funding. Artists who have not completed six consecutive months of active membership before an application deadline may apply in a future cycle once eligible.
